Family Orientation

Whether you are the family member of a first-year or transfer student, the Family Orientation program is designed to help with the college transition process. Throughout the day, you will meet with a variety of administrators who will introduce you to a wide array of services and resources to assist you and your student. You will have ample time to ask questions and discuss any concerns with our staff. There also will be an opportunity to tour the residence halls.

Q-Start

New students may register for Orientation and find a complete list of everything they need to do to get started at Quinnipiac using the Q-Start portal.

All incoming students are sent a welcome email with instructions on how to establish their Quinnipiac email account and access Q-Start, the onboarding platform for new, incoming students. The portal contains all the information new students need to get started at Quinnipiac, including: registering for an orientation session; reviewing the housing contract; completing placement assessments; and planning for course registration.

We will send additional communications throughout the summer to students' Quinnipiac email address, so we encourage students to check often.
