Our online RN to BSN program develops an advanced set of versatile skills and leadership capabilities meant to build on your current experience as a nursing professional. The program is completed entirely online in a flexible format meant to accommodate the unpredictable schedule that comes with being a practicing nurse.
Our program is meant to develop leaders at the point of care and emphasizes the practical skills needed to elevate the quality of patient care in any setting. The curriculum explores a number of contemporary issues in nursing, as well as how to leverage research and evidence-based practice to care for a diverse, aging population. Each course is led by the same experienced faculty members who teach on campus for the School of Nursing.
Students entering the program are able to transfer up to 90 credits and have the opportunity to complete the program at an accelerated pace. Additionally, those interested in continuing to master’s degree level studies may complete an RN to MSN in Operational Leadership pathway that allows them to complete both the BSN and MSN in as little as 2 years.
Upon completion of the program, the BSN graduate will demonstrate the following competencies:
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, the Master of Science in Nursing program and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Quinnipiac University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, D.C. 20001, 202-887-6791.
Many of the nursing programs within Quinnipiac University’s School of Nursing also are endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation. Graduates of these programs are eligible to take the appropriate national exam to become board-certified holistic nurses at the basic or advanced level of nursing:
Bachelor’s degree (HNB-BC)
Nurse practitioner graduate degree (APHN-BC or AHN-BC)
