Admission Requirements

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree completion program allows students to transfer in a maximum of 88 credits from a regionally accredited institution.

Successful applicants will have earned an associate’s degree or diploma in nursing from a regionally accredited program and will have a registered nurse (RN) license in good standing. The desired candidate will have obtained a GPA of 2.7 or higher on a scale of 4.0.

Application Timeline

Applications are considered on a rolling basis and students may apply to enter during the fall or spring semesters. Candidates are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible to ensure consideration for the desired semester.

Required Documents

An application consists of the following:

  • Completed application form

  • $65 application fee

  • Updated resume or curriculum vitae

  • Personal statement

  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended

Proof of an active registered nurse (RN) license (for new graduates, before the end of the first semester of classes)

  • 2 letters of recommendation (one from a current supervisor or professor)
