Online RN to BSN Admissions
We make our admission process as straightforward and personalized as possible. If you have any questions or need guidance, our counselors and advisers in the School of Nursing are available to assist you at every stage of your application process.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) degree completion program allows students to transfer in a maximum of 88 credits from a regionally accredited institution.
Successful applicants will have earned an associate’s degree or diploma in nursing from a regionally accredited program and will have a registered nurse (RN) license in good standing. The desired candidate will have obtained a GPA of 2.7 or higher on a scale of 4.0.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis and students may apply to enter during the fall or spring semesters. Candidates are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible to ensure consideration for the desired semester.
An application consists of the following:
- Completed application form
- $45 application fee
- Updated resume or curriculum vitae
- Personal statement
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
Proof of an active registered nurse (RN) license (for new graduates, before the end of the first semester of classes)
- 2 letters of recommendation (one from a current supervisor or professor)
- Completed background check: All accepted students will be required to complete a background check and drug screen following acceptance and before the start of classes. Acceptances are conditional prior to the satisfactory completion of both.
Applications are evaluated once all materials are received by Quinnipiac.
Acceptance is offered to qualified applicants in the next available start term. Please note that admission is competitive and that meeting the minimum admission standards does not guarantee admission.
