Withdrawal Policy

Registration deadlines will be posted for all QU Academy courses each Fall and Spring. Schools, students and parents will have 2-3 weeks during the designated registration period to register for the college credit associated with their course(s). For courses that are student/family paid, there will be a 4-week window for making payment. At the end of those four weeks, course rosters will be verified and any student who has not paid the QU Academy tuition and fees will be de-registered from the college credit course, but may remain enrolled in the high school course.

If a student wishes to withdraw from the course, they must submit a written request to be withdrawn from the course. QU Academy tuition and fees are non-refundable after the payment deadline and students will be responsible for the tuition and fees regardless of whether they complete the course or not, and regardless of what grade they receive. The $25 administrative fee is non-refundable.

Any request to withdraw from a course must be made by the last day of Quinnipiac classes in December for Fall courses and the last day of QU classes in May for spring and full-year courses. Students may not withdraw from a course after these deadlines. A grade of “W” is indicated on transcripts for all withdrawn courses. This does not impact a student’s GPA, nor is any credit earned for courses with a grade of “W.” If a student does not complete a withdrawal request by these deadlines, a grade will be submitted to Quinnipiac, based on the grading criteria outlined in the course syllabus.
