Iddrisu Awudu is an Associate Professor of Management at Quinnipiac University. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Ghana, MSc in Industrial Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a PhD in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the North Dakota State University (NDSU). He has worked for Navteq (Nokia owned), Nestle, and Afripa Telecom which span three countries including the USA, UK, and Ghana. Iddrisu Awudu has authored in journals including Energy Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Applied Energy, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews and Journal of Operations and Supply Chain Management. These research publications are in the areas of renewable energy, supply chain and operations, supply chain optimization, risk/hedging in supply chain, sustainable supply chains and logistics. He has consulted, worked on projects and conducted trainings/workshops for numerous organizations including the Veteran Association (VA), MTN Ghana, WAEC Ghana, etc. Prof. Awudu teaches courses in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chaian Analytics, Operations Management and Decision Making in Business at the graduate and undergraduate levels at Quinnipiac. Prior to joining Quinnipiac University, he taught courses in Business Intelligence, Operations Management, and Management Information Systems at the Minnesota State University in Moorhead. Prof. Awudu is a two-time (2015 and 2017) Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow and has participated in the Harvard Business Publishing Education Case Study Workshop.
