Designed to inspire new ways of thinking and encourage positive change and disruption, the Undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation gives non-business students the foundation they need to create a business or launch a product from the ground floor.
Adopt an Entrepreneurial Mindset
The building blocks of entrepreneurship and innovation — ideating, problem-solving, researching, developing and optimizing — are just as valuable outside of traditional business programs as they are within our School of Business. By pursuing an Undergraduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, students within Quinnipiac's eight schools and the College of Arts and Sciences will learn the habits of the doers, movers and shakers. Students interested in becoming their own boss or working in an innovative capacity will embrace a new mindset that asks "what if" or "how can" in both new and existing organizations. This certificate program opens the doors for almost any career path, from future doctors who plan to start their own practice to aspiring marketing professionals who yearn to rethink established agency models.
If you are interested in earning a certificate but do not currently attend Quinnipiac University as a matriculated student, please ensure that you meet the requirements to pursue this certificate. Once you have done so, contact Patrice Luoma to learn how you can register for these courses as a non-degree-seeking student.
Throughout each semester, the M&T Bank Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship holds a variety of events designed to create a vibrant and entrepreneurial on-campus community, provide inspiration for Quinnipiac entrepreneurs (faculty, staff and students) and share information that will assist budding innovators in attaining their goals.
The Innovation Hub provides students with a uniquely collaborative and interdisciplinary opportunity by bringing together the university’s innovation ecosystem. It delivers dedicated spaces — physical ones and virtual ones — that spark exciting new ways to create 21st-century solutions and act as an incubator for entrepreneurial pursuits across the university.
