Graduate Costs

Tuition and Fees 2020-21

Direct costs are expenses for which you receive a billing statement from the Quinnipiac University Office of Student Accounts such as tuition, student fees, university/technology fees, accident insurance, health insurance and other applicable fees.

Student fees $45 per credit, not to exceed $405 per semester
$25 per term summer registration fee
Technology and lab fees $370 per semester (fall/spring) for full-time students
$165 per semester (fall/spring) for part-time students
$85 for summer semester (full-time or part-time)
Mandatory accident insurance $25 fall and spring semester
Commuter meal plan (required) $210 per semester (fall/spring) for full-time students
Not charged for clinical or student-teaching semesters

How to Apply

Submitting the forms

Our priority processing timeline is recommended as follows:

  • For Summer: March 31
  • For Fall: June 1
  • For Spring: November 1

Forms will be accepted after the designated date and complete files are processed in the order received based on the time of year you are seeking assistance and funding levels.

Complete and submit the FAFSA form

All students seeking financial aid need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available after October 1. This is by far the most important document in the financial aid process.

Submit the Quinnipiac graduate financial aid application

This form is required to receive financial aid and provides information including when seeking financial aid, enrollment plans, outside resources (including tuition reimbursement) and authorization to release information.

Complete the 2020-21 Application

The 2020-21 application is required for students seeking any form of assistance for Summer 2020, Fall 2020 and/or Spring 2021.

Complete the 2021-22 Application

The 2021-22 application is required for students seeking any form of assistance for Summer 2021, Fall 2021 and/or Spring 2022.

Submit the Quinnipiac graduate grant application

Grant funds are awarded to our full-time, on-ground graduate students who are U.S. citizens and demonstrate high financial need as evaluated by the financial aid office.

  • If applicable, certain students will also be asked to provide parental information* in order to apply.
    *Parent application is required for grant consideration for unmarried students under the age of 26 or married students under the age of 24.
  • Students receiving tuition waivers or university-based scholarships will not be given priority consideration for need-based grants.
