Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Admissions

We make our admission process as straightforward and personalized as possible. If you have any questions or need guidance, our counselors and advisers in the School of Health Sciences are available to assist you at every stage of your application process.

Application Timeline

Students can enroll in the Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Certificate program during the spring, summer, or fall terms. Applications are accepted throughout the year on a rolling basis. 

Classes for each term adhere to the following schedule.

  • Students starting in the spring will take their first class in January

  • Students starting in the summer will take their first class in May

  • Students starting in the fall with take their first class in August

Admissions Requirements

In order to be considered for admission into the program, all applicants must meet the following standards.

  • Applicants must have earned an associate’s degree

  • Applicants must be certified by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

  • Applicants must hold state licensure in Connecticut as a radiographer

Required Documents

  • Completed application form

  • Nonrefundable application fee of $45 (payable by credit or debit card; do not send cash or check)

  • Official transcripts
    It is your responsibility to request official transcripts from all undergraduate, graduate and professional schools attended (including part-time and summer study). If you received transfer credit from another institution, it is still necessary to have an official transcript sent from the original university. These transcripts must be provided to Quinnipiac University in a sealed envelope or sent electronically to graduate@qu.edu

  • Current resume

  • Proof of radiologic certification and registration

Applications are reviewed once all of the required materials have been received. It is your responsibility to ensure that missing documents are received prior to the stated admissions deadline.

How to Apply and Register for Courses

Prospective Students

Students who are not currently enrolled at Quinnipiac must complete the graduate application for the Certificates in Advanced Diagnostic Imaging.

Current students

Current students do not need to fill out an application. Instead, current students interested in adding this certificate to their record must first complete the Certificate Declaration Form.

After completing the form, current students can register for certificate courses using the Self-Service Platform.

Non-matriculated and non-degree-seeking students

Students also have the option to enroll in courses without matriculating. Students who want to register for courses as non-matriculated or non-degree-seeking should contact Paula Demaio for more information before filling out our Course Registration Form

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are subject to annual updates. The 2022-23 cost per credit is $1,095 and does not include fees, books, supplies or other charges. The total estimated cost of tuition for the 5-credit certificate program is $5,475.
