The Village

The Village is a co-ed series of residence halls divided into single-sex suites. There are 28 halls of 4 suites each making up The Village community.

The Village at Quinnipiac University is a community made up of 28 buildings that each have 4 suites housing 5 to 10 sophomore students. Follow resident Emma Morales as she shows you what it's like to live in a suite in The Village in this episode of #QuinnipiacDormTours.

Hall and Room Features

Each suite has 3 double bedrooms and individual bathrooms. Each bedroom has 2 beds, 2 desks and a 2 free-standing closets. Suites also have a common area. Laundry facilities are located in the main lobby. 

Hall Features

  • 28 buildings with 4 suites in each
  • Most suites house 6 residents in 3 bedrooms (3 doubles) and are multi-level
  • Laundry room located in each building

Suite Features

  • 103 multi-level suites of 6 residents in 3 bedrooms 
  • 4 ADA-accessible suites (in Village 400 & 460) of 4 residents in 2 bedrooms (2 doubles, single level)
  • 4 multi-level suites (in Village 400 & 460) of 8 residents in 4 bedrooms (4 doubles)
  • Suites have 1 full bathroom with 1 shower, 2 sinks & 2 toilets

Living Room Features

  • Beginning in Fall 2024, common room furniture will be provided in all Village suites. The furniture includes a sofa, love seat, side chair, two end tables and a media cabinet.

Bedroom Features

  • Bedrooms furnished with twin XL bed, desk, chair & wardrobe
    • Room 1 & 2 : Village 400-530 (12' x 12' 5"), Village 540-670 (15' x 12'), windows (82" x 63")
    • Room 3: Village 400-530 (12' 5" x 14'), Village 540-670 (15' 8" x 12'), windows (82" x 63")
    • Mattress Dimensions: 36" x 80" x 6" (require twin XL sheets)
  • Desk (57" x 25" x 30") has 3 drawers and 1 chair
  • Wardrobe (36" x 24" x 72")

Resident undergraduate student housing contract
