Whether it’s the incredible school spirit or enjoying some breathtaking views of campus from Sleeping Giant State Park, we are excited to welcome you for a fun, action-packed weekend to reconnect with your Bobcat. Friday, October 25

    Guests will register here throughout the weekend and pick up maps and giveaways.

  • All Day | Alumni Career Connections | Location Varies | Free
    We are excited to invite our alumni to partner with faculty and offer career guidance to students in the classroom. This is a wonderful chance to share your experiences and knowledge, helping to prepare the next generation for their professional journeys. Topics may include resume writing, interviewing tips, general career information and/or industry/professional insights related to course subject matter. If you are interested in serving in a classroom for one hour that day to provide career advice and coaching to students, please sign up.

  • 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. | The Famine Queen: Victoria and the Great Hunger Exhibition | Arnold Bernhard Library | Free
    In the Irish famine historiography, Queen Victoria remains a contested figure - was she indifferent to the suffering of the Irish poor or, as a recent popular TV show suggested, was she engaged and compassionate? Stop by anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to see the exhibit.

    If you are arriving on Friday, join us to kick off Bobcat Weekend on QU's iconic Quad! Join family and friends for lawn games, music, snacks and giveaways!

  • 5 - 7 p.m. | Friday Shabbat with Rabbi Reena Judd | Peter C. Hereld House | Free
    Join Rabbi Reena for a traditional Friday evening Shabbat. Dinner will be served reception-style; stop by any time during the meal and enjoy fellowship.

  • 6 - 8 p.m. | Feel-Good Friday at RecWell | RecWell Lobby, Recreation Center & Adjacent Lawn | $5
    Stop by the RecWell Center to unwind and enjoy stress-busting activies led by staff. There will be gong meditation, therapy dogs, herbal tea making, rock climbing, access to tours in our state-of-the-art studios and more.

    Open to students of all majors, QUIP-RS provides up to $5,000 in funding for undergraduate students to conduct research or complete creative projects alongside faculty mentors. During our annual keynote, learn more about how our students and faculty are working together to improve our local and global communities.

    This event is a showcase featuring Quinnipiac students and faculty presenting academic excellence. You’ll meet students and faculty from across the university who will explain their research, demonstrate collaborative projects like student-designed video games, and learn more about cutting-edge teaching. Coffee and a continental breakfast will be served.

    Lace up your favorite walking shoes and join fellow School of Education alumni for a scenic stroll up Sleeping Giant's iconic Tower Trail! Reconnect with old friends, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the beautiful views. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle and get ready for a memorable outdoor adventure! Current School of Education students are welcome to attend with their families.

  • 1 - 3 p.m. | Discover the Giant | Meet at Albert Schweitzer Institute | $5
    Stop by our university pollinator gardens to learn more about the biodiversity of our neighboring Sleeping Giant Mountain. A self-guided hike departing from the garden is optional. Ecology talks take place every half hour at 3 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. Maps, water fill-up, and a light snack will be provided.

  • 1 - 3 p.m. | Guided Campus Tours | Meet at the School of Business Dome | Free
    Join our admissions team to take a walk through Mount Carmel Campus and reminisce about your time on campus while checking out all the latest facilities.

    Join us for an afternoon of vibrant music and delicious refreshments, celebrating the rich tapestry of our multicultural families and alumni. Join us in the rec center for an epic game night on a giant screen, where family and friends can enjoy the excitement together. Enjoy your first drink on us and savor complimentary tailgate-style eats! Before we cheer on the men's hockey team, we'll celebrate another AMBITIOUS moment in Quinnipiac’s history with a special announcement you can't miss!

    An exciting behind the scenes opportunity to see the Quinnipiac University Acrobatics & Tumbling team practice their tumbling, tosses, acrobatic lifts, pyramids and more!

  • 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Women's Golf Alumni Simulator Event | Recreation Center
    Become a part of the Friends of Women’s Golf community and experience the golf simulator station. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with the head coach of women’s golf, John O’Connor, as well as the current team members. Under O’Connor’s leadership, Quinnipiac has secured four titles in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, with consecutive victories in 2016 and 2017, followed by a three-year winning streak from 2021 to 2023. O’Connor’s exceptional coaching skills have earned him the ‘Coach of the Year’ honor in the conference three times.
