ISU will be welcoming Clan Mother Shoran Waupatukuay Piper, who is the tribal leader of the Golden Hill Paugussett nation and the author of Red Road: Traditional Voices of Afro- Indigenous America. ISU plans on welcoming her so that she can talk about her experiences and  the history of Connecticut’s native land to provide greater education to Quinnipiac community.
