Businesses need a new generation of multiskilled leaders equipped with not only a general international business orientation, but also a solid understanding of global supply chain principles and methods to maximize profits, minimize waste and achieve a competitive edge in markets around the world.

Program Overview

The Global Supply Chain Certificate is designed to address the growing needs of companies moving toward the global sourcing of their raw materials, components and intermediate products, as well as the exporting of their finished products to foreign markets. This career-directed program integrates the objectives of the BS in International Business, provides a strong supplement to many other business-related majors, and is ideal for both traditional students and working professionals.

This five-course (15-credit) certificate is approved by the state of Connecticut and incorporates a range of knowledge and skills necessary for a strong foundation in global supply chain activities. Coursework covers such subjects as international finance and supply chain analytics, as well as how to coordinate and execute global supply chain business solutions.
