We make our admission process as straightforward and personalized as possible. If you have any questions or need guidance, our counselors and advisers in the School of Education are available to assist you at every stage of your application process.
The ideal candidate will have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have an excellent record of teaching. Applicants also are required to demonstrate satisfactory writing skills through their personal essay.
Applicants seeking an MS in Special Education with the Comprehensive Special Education K-12 certification endorsement in the state of Connecticut (CT #165) must have access to a school and hold a valid initial teaching certificate.
Applications are accepted throughout the year. The admissions committee will review an application once all of the supporting documents are received.
