With an expanding and more diversified health care landscape, there is a growing demand for adaptive nurse leaders who can coordinate the efficient delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Quinnipiac’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Operational Leadership gives capable nurses the background and tools necessary to step into leadership roles and elevate the standards of patient safety and care.
The MSN in Operational Leadership prepares the next wave of adaptive nurse leaders to drive improvements in quality care in the present and the future. The program delves deep into the organizational dynamics that influence today’s health care system, teaching students the skills they need to make efficient decisions in any environment.
Coursework goes beyond the point of care to cover the overarching pillars of quality health care. Students explore the foundations of health care management, organizational leadership and performance management, while gaining hands-on experience through independent fieldwork. Coursework may be completed online in our flexible digital classroom, allowing students the space to study around their work schedules.
