The Quinnipiac community takes pride in its culture of inclusivity and we are working to become the University of the Future. Simply stated, Quinnipiac recognizes and celebrates the cultural and ethnic differences among our students, and seeks to provide safe spaces for open and honest dialogue.

Diversity is about much more than ethnicity. It’s about different cultures, beliefs, genders, orientations and religions — all of which are embraced here at Quinnipiac through a number of groups and organizations. We have 13 student-run organizations dedicated to cultural diversity, tolerance and gender equality. Each of these clubs offers social and recreational events that will enable you to experience other customs in a fun, enjoyable and welcoming environment, while you leave your own unique mark on the university community.
Welcome to “The Cut,” a video series that promotes a safe space and a platform for Black students at Quinnipiac University to share their thoughts with each other as well as faculty and staff mentors.
For Black men, the local barbershop is more than just a fade in the chair. It’s a seat at the table, a place for marginalized voices to be heard and respected. “The Cut” is an extension of that proud community. It’s an open mic for unfiltered discussions about politics, racism, the criminal justice system, hypermasculinity and many other social issues.
Connect with us on social media so you can keep up with all of the amazing things happening on our campuses — and throughout Bobcat Nation. And don’t forget to check out Quinnipiac Today to get a daily slice of the student experience.
