Possessing a working knowledge of chemistry will give you a competitive edge and enable you to pursue a career in a variety of exciting fields.
Whether you’re majoring in another science or something entirely unrelated, an added proficiency in chemistry will draw the attention of prospective employers. Our Minor in Chemistry explores general, organic and analytical chemistry with extensive lab experience. You'll also choose one elective lab course that suits your particular interest, either biochemistry, physical chemistry or instrumental analysis.
The program consists of a minimum of 24 credits of chemistry distributed between 20 credits of required courses and 4 credits of elective courses consistent with the following specifications: The minimum grade required for each course is a C-.
