Dean's List

We recognize our highest academic achievers each semester on our dean’s list. We are impressed by how ambitious and driven our students are, and we are proud to celebrate their accomplishments.

Students who excel in scholarship by earning a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C are recognized by being placed on the dean’s list.

Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis (A through C) to be eligible.

Part-time students must complete at least 6 credits during a semester.

The Fall 2020 Dean's List will be published in January.

Transcript Requests

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have limited or no access to send hard copies of transcripts and require that students order their transcripts electronically using the National Student Clearinghouse. If there are any questions, or you need assistance, please direct your inquiries to registrar@qu.edu.

Requests for Quinnipiac University transcripts are handled by the registrar's office and will not be released until all financial requirements to the university have been met. All transcript requests must be accompanied by an authorized signature of the requestor and the applicable fees.

You may receive your transcript by secure electronic PDF delivery (only available for students enrolled 1994-present).

Transcript Ordering Options & Fees

Currently, you may submit a request for your transcript online.

Online (quickest and preferred method)
Transcript requests can be made online, 24/7 through the National Student Clearinghouse website. The clearinghouse allows for:

  • Credit card payment
  • E-transcript delivery (for students enrolled any time from Spring 1994 to present)

Please read the instructions provided by the National Student Clearinghouse carefully.

All official transcript requests carry a charge of $5 per transcript.

Additional fees:

  • $2.50 processing fee for transcripts ordered online through the National Student Clearinghouse
  • $1 additional fee for E-Transcripts

For example:

  • An online order for four transcripts to one address would be: ($5 x 4) + $2.50 = $22.50
  • An online order for four transcripts to four different addresses would be: ($5 x 4) + ($2.50 x 4) = $30
  • An online order for one transcript sent by electronic PDF to one person would be: $5 + $2.50 + $1 = $8.50

Transcript FAQs

We cannot fulfill transcript requests for current or former students with outstanding financial obligations owed to the University. You must contact the appropriate office to resolve any outstanding obligations. It is the responsibility of the requestor to inform the registrar's office that the hold has been rectified.

Transcripts are processed in the order in which the request is received. Please allow for 3-4 business days. Orders sent by mail are sent via the U.S. Postal Service.

According to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), secondary educational institutions must have written permission from the student to release all educational records. This is applicable to all schools that receive Title IV funds from the U.S. Department of Education.

Current Quinnipiac students may generate an unofficial transcript and an enrollment verification letter by following these steps:

  1. Visit Self-Service on MyQ
  2. Click on "Unofficial Transcript" in "Student Planning

Former Quinnipiac students must complete the transcript request form and indicate how many copies of the unofficial transcript should be sent. Unofficial transcripts cannot be sent electronically due to security concerns and the protection of your student record. Please allow appropriate time when making these requests.

Your grade point average (GPA) is included as part of your academic record. Quinnipiac University does not calculate or provide class rank.

Course descriptions may be found in the academic catalog at catalog.qu.edu.

Third parties, such as a loan provider or insurance company, may use DegreeVerify through the National Student Clearinghouse.
