Life After Quinnipiac

A seamless transition from student to teacher

We have designed our programs to prepare you to thrive in a dynamic line of work. With a commitment to both theory and hands-on learning, we’ll prepare you to enter the classroom work-ready. Importantly, we’ll give you the tools — and cultivate the mindset — to continue learning and growing in your professional life. Many of our graduates go on to hold positions of leadership.

Our graduates make a difference in area school districts and institutions as teachers at all grade levels, heads of education departments and school administrators. They work hard to close the achievement gap and improve outcomes for underserved students. In doing so, they are having a profound impact on the educational system in countless communities.

Our graduates remain members of a strong educator network, keeping in touch with the people they met during their student teaching experiences for continued guidance. Graduates also continue to develop their professional relationships through a mentoring program we call Bridge that helps ensure a seamless transition from student to the role of professional teacher.
