The head of the class

Our graduates make a difference in school districts and institutions across the country as teachers at all grade levels, heads of education departments, and school administrators. As a group they have been drawn toward finding ways to close the achievement gap and improving the outcomes for at-risk and underserved students. Life after Quinnipiac

Quinnipiac’s School of Education has designed its programs to prepare you to thrive in a dynamic line of work. With a commitment to both fundamental theory and hands-on learning, we’ll prepare you to enter the classroom work-ready. Importantly, we’ll give you the tools —and cultivate the mindset — that you can carry forward to continue learning and growing in your professional life. Many of our graduates go on to hold positions of leadership.

“Quinnipiac’s training forced me to ask questions and not be satisfied with status quo answers. I was taught to think hard about changing the system for the better, rather than just being in it. That’s why I decided to be proactive and pursue a career in school administration. My training begged me to ask not what I can do for my classroom, but what can I do for my entire school.”
