Financial Technology (FinTech) represents a dynamic and rapidly evolving sector that leverages technology to enhance and streamline financial services while also improving security and financial decision-making. FinTech encompasses a wide range of innovations and applications, from mobile banking and digital payments to robo-advisers, wealth management, and blockchain.
Our FinTech program provides you with a thorough understanding of how technological advancements and financial institutions influence and impact one another. The curriculum provides students the opportunity to gain industry knowledge and develop a comprehensive technical skillset to implement their finance knowledge to improve existing business practices and develop new processes related to technological innovations. Students will develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of the theories underlying FinTech, data-driven financial modeling, financial data mining, machine learning, financial data analytics and innovations in the financial sector, including AI, blockchain, bitcoin, cloud computing, crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending.
Graduates will be highly competitive candidates for careers in investment banking, international finance, sales and trading, commercial banking and information technology. They will be well prepared to work for companies focused on alternative lending, cryptocurrency management and trading, blockchain technologies, open banking, data mining applications and cybersecurity.

STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) graduates are in high demand. In addition, STEM-designated programs allow certain international graduates to remain and work in the United States for an additional 24 months after graduation on top of the standard Optional Practical Training period (up to 12 months) in order to receive additional training through their work experience.
