Eligible community college graduates are able to transfer seamlessly with guaranteed admission.*

Seamless Transfer Eligibility Requirements

*To gurantee admission to Quinnipiac, prospective transfer students must:

  • Complete an associate’s degree at a Connecticut community college

  • Earn a 2.50 or higher cumulative GPA

    • Biomedical sciences, health science studies, and medical microbiology and immunology majors require a 2.67 cumulative GPA or higher

Certain majors are not eligible or are limited for transfers:

  • Diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic sciences, bachelor’s/master’s in physician assistant, bachelor’s/master’s or doctorate of occupational therapy, entry-level doctor of physical therapy are not eligible for transfer.

  • The traditional 4-year BS in Nursing program reviews transfer students on a competitive basis only if space is available; a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA is required and certain pre-requisites must be met, but there is no guaranteed admission.

Participating 60+60 Majors

Students who enroll in an eligible 60+60 major with a minimum grade of C in at least 60 transfer credits will have the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree at Quinnipiac in two years or fewer.
